Additionally, thanks to Slow Horses I discovered a legit source of free books I hadn’t been aware of previously. I decided to dig into Jack Lowden’s filmography and was so impressed after watching Benediction, a beautiful and sad movie about Siegfried Sassoon, a British poet and decorated WWI soldier who was sent to a psychiatric facility for his anti-war stance, that I ended up looking for his books—and found them on archive.org. It turns out that even if you can’t download some of the books listed there, you can ‘borrow’ them and read them online, like in a library. You only have to make an account, log in, and click ‘borrow’. Sharing this in case it might come in handy 😉
